For this, you have to treat the plastic garbage can before the acrylic paint will stick to it. I used Krylon Fusion spray paint. Then, using a cut dollar store sponge, I applied watered down red acrylic paint. I really like this! And, per usual, the red doesn’t come out right in the picture. Which is too bad. I love red!
