100_3773This would be a good stitch for a scarf or blanket.

Viral Blanket in Five Colors

05/12/2017Karen crochet 12 Comments

This virus blanket is made using five different baby yarn colors. I like how cheerful it is.

Here’s where I got the pattern:

http://www.jonnamartinez.com/2015/11/blanket-pattern-and-worked-up-by-jonna.html

Update: I guess the pattern was removed form the website. Jonna Martinez Sells the pattern on Ravelry and on Etsy.

Here’s a close up to show the colors.

Viral Blanket in Pinks

I wanted to see what the virus blanket looked like with each group of rows in different colors. The pattern is from http://www.jonnamartinez.com/2015/11/blanket-pattern-and-worked-up-by-jonna.html

Update: I guess the pattern was removed form the website. Jonna Martinez Sells the pattern on Ravelry and on Etsy.

Brickwork

100_3767This stitch is done almost entirely from the same side to the other. Meaning that you pretty much need to tie off, cut and bury the thread after each row. It wouldn’t be so bad in an afghan, but in a sample was rather tedious.
