Now that the weather is colder, I just want to crochet. This is a sample I made up for my next project, a blanket. It will be a stripe of this, then a stripe of variegated turquoise to pink.
I finished a lap blanket, but one of the cats is sleeping on it, so I can’t scan it.

These colors don’t show up well. Getting used to that. The dark is purple, and the light is yellow. Somehow I got this cool twist to it. Not sure how, but I really like it.

I made this simple necklace with the herringbone stitch. Just wanted something to wear to work. I made the catch with bent wire and a few beads sewn to the back of the strip.

The cuff is almost done. Next step is to glue it to the metal cuff, then bead the edges. But, I figured it would be easier to scan at this step. Some day, I plan to have a digital camera, and these pics will hopefully be better. And not limited to 2 dimensions.

Here’s a closeup of the pink with a black background. I was hoping this would bring it out more. I rescanned a couple of previous items, and they scanned just fine. It seems that certain colors don’t scan well. Too bad. The pink one is very pretty in person.

The picture above is the latest, in yellow. The picture below that is the same, only enhanced. The yellow just doesn’t seem to work. The only way I can get the color to come out is to take it out in the sun. Note to self: No more light colors.
