Watercolor Sprinkles V

This one started out pretty good. The watercolor sprinkles were doing their thing, but there was a spot in the middle that I just had to fix. Ruined the whole thing. So, I just took a damp sponge across it. It’s kind of interesting now.

One More Try

This time, I put drops of one color down, blew on it with a straw, and let it dry completely before adding another color. Only three colors are on here, so you can see that water color paints go from dry to wet and mix very easily.

Watercolor Sprinkles IV

This one had a huge lake in the middle, so, I put rock salt in it. It seemed to have pooled toward the edges, too. It has potential, though.

Getting Better

I did these one color at a time, but it was still wet. I like this.

I feel like this one is a little bit better. Not so much pooled water.

Blow

So, what happens if you put several different colored drops on paper, and then blow with a straw? You get a lot of dark colors.

On this one, I tried putting salt in the puddle. Didn’t work.

Orange and Red

Didn’t know where to go with this orange and red mess, so I added drops of paint and blew on them with a straw. Oh, this is fun!

Watercolor Sprinkles

Mom has a set of watercolor paints that are in powdered form. We tried sprinkling them on paper after a water wash. The sprinkles dissolve in the water and the paint drifts. Looks really cool when it’s doing its thing, but it keeps going, and the water pools in the middle of the paper. You can see the potential here, though.

Aliens?

This is rock salt on watercolor paint. Some of the blobs almost look like aliens to me.  Too fun!
