This is an eight strand braid. Got some more colors. This is much better.
Turk’s Head Ring
I used a thick cord for this, making it way too big for a ring. I guess that’s how you learn. 
Plaits
I’ve always called these braids, but my source calls them plaits. Three strand and four strand.
Braid 2
This is a flat braid, rather then the previous round braids.

This is a variation on the first braid I posted. There aren’t very many 4 strand braids, so I thought I better do all the variations, just for the practice. With this one, I discovered that I need to build up the muscles in my hands. My left hand was very sore when I was done. Hey, it’s art and a workout, all at the same time!
