Gruf didn’t want to eat any dog food today, so I made him some brown rice. Not sure how much got in him. Most of it is all over the floor. Gruf is the one on the left, with Spunky on the right. And don’t forget Buddy in the background. I don’t have many pics of all three of them.

I got Gruf a doggie bed. It’s “self warming”. His body heat warms it, and the reflective space blanket fabric keeps the bed, and him, warm. And it’s machine washable. Total bonus.
Before I was even done writing this post, this happened. Buddy is kneading like crazy.

I’ve heard people say that black cats are bad luck, that they are even evil. Not so. Gruf was cold, so I threw a blanket over him. Then Buddy snuggled up to him. As soon as Gruf was warmed up and happy again, Buddy went back to his favorite box for his nap. That’s one sweet black cat.

I bought a doggie door for the sliding glass door. The dogs are having trouble adjusting to using it. This is all the use Buddy is getting out of it. They had a doggie door in the old house. They all used it up until two months ago. How do I express my frustration? I blog it.
