You’d have to be careful making the beading hole in this bead. It would be so easy to break off the tip.

I betting this could also be made into an egg shape.

Here is a disc shape. You could put the beading hole in the flat side, as shown here, or in the rounded side.

This is called “jigsaw”. Although you can make beads with this technique, I just made a square disc.
Cookie Cutter Beads
To make this bead, I used a small square cookie cutter. Cut the square, then cut out a corner.
Facets
This one seems simple to make. But cutting the facets evenly? Not so easy.
Combing
This look, in polymer clay, is called “combing”. I like this.
