This stitch is called Rack. It is a pattern of three rows, repeated twice here.
Here it is in a scarf. Making a three row pattern was interesting when it is a five row color pattern. Fun!

Shell Network
This stitch is called the Shell Network.
I made a scarf with this stitch. This one stitched up very fast.

Block and Offset Shell
My samples are getting larger and larger. Need the bigger size just to show the pattern. This one is called Block and Offset Shell.
Because the pattern is so large on this one, I made a lap blanket instead of a scarf. Took forever because I really didn’t like this pattern. It just looks like stripes from two different blankets pieced together.
Linked Shell
I’m calling these patterns, instead of stitches, because they are groupings of stitches that are pretty well known. This pattern is made up of double stitches and chains. Not really a new stitch.

Crow’s Foot Lattice
Another two row repeat. I’m liking these more complicated patterns.
Strawberry Lace
This pattern is a four row repeat. I like it!
Blossom
This pattern is a two row repeat. This means that row one is one pattern and row two is another pattern. Then you just repeat the two rows.
Sprig
These stitches are just getting more and more complicated. This is a good thing! You learn more then.
Iris
This stitch is called Iris.
This scarf is made with the Iris stitch.

Rope
This stitch is called Rope.
I made this yoga mat with the Rope stitch. Basically, it’s a large blanket folded over in thirds and tied in place. I used yarn I got very cheaply at a yard sale, many years ago. 🙂
