I made this simple necklace with the herringbone stitch. Just wanted something to wear to work. I made the catch with bent wire and a few beads sewn to the back of the strip.

Herringbone Stitches
This stitch is called the Herringbone Half Double Stitch.
And this stitch is the Herringbone Double Stitch.
The co worker that I previously made purses for asked me to make her a couple more, but this time for going out on the town. I made this purse with the Herringbone Double Stitch.
