I found a post of that bead cuff almost done. Makes me glad I have a digital camera now.
The cuff is almost done. Next step is to glue it to the metal cuff, then bead the edges. But, I figured it would be easier to scan at this step. Some day, I plan to have a digital camera, and these pics will hopefully be better. And not limited to 2 dimensions.
This post is from May 10, 2008. Since then, I’ve moved much closer to my mom. I also did finish the cuff. I’ll post it. When I find it.
Took an online beading class from Joggles.com. Beading to fabric isn’t really my thing, but I wanted to do something with my mom. She lives 3 hours away from me, so this class was a fun way of doing something together. I seem to be stuck right here. When the fabric is all beaded, it is glued to a metal cuff.
Mom and I went to a fashion show at a little studio in Longview, WA last Saturday. I really enjoyed it. There were crocheted shawls and dresses, felted jackets, and lots of jewelry. I didn’t take any pictures, I was too busy looking and drawing ideas in my scrap book. Here is the card for the shop. It’s on Facebook, too. Check them out. It’s worth the time.
