The Figure of Eight Chains is a Celtic knot that is repeated. Here I have done four in this example.
Flat Turk’s Head Pendant
This knot just begged to be made into a necklace, so rather then cut the ends and hide them, I just tied the ends. Yes, there is a mistake in this one. I was tired when I made it. But, I figure this knot is so busy that no one will notice it. And I don’t plan to sell it, so I don’t have to feel guilty about the mistake.

Turk’s Head Ring
I used a thick cord for this, making it way too big for a ring. I guess that’s how you learn. 
Plaits
I’ve always called these braids, but my source calls them plaits. Three strand and four strand.
Flat Knot
Once I got the hang of this one, it went very fast. This shows a whole series of flat knots.
Round Brocade Knot
I really like the look of this Round Brocade Knot.
