I really enjoy making the mandalas, so I had to start another book of them. This book has good directions and charts.

I’ve found a lot of mistakes in the directions in this book. However, the charts are good. Mostly, I just ignore the written directions and use the charts.

There’s a Starman
This is the next mandala from “Modern Crochet Mandalas”, by Interweave. This one was a bit difficult to make. It has more rows then you’d think. Each of the three outer rows is actually made by crocheting three rows around each other. The result is very nice.
I kind of like the backside of this one, too.
Lucky Mum
The second mandala from “Modern Crochet Mandalas”, by the Editors at Interweave. This one was designed by Kerry Bogert. I’m starting to think that my definition of crochet terms are not universal. However, it’s very pretty.
