This is done with black marker and watercolor paint. The upper parts are watercolor paint on wet canvas and the lower parts are the same color of watercolor pain on dry canvas.

Alien
This alien was made with watercolor paint, marker, and colored pencils. I like the happy little guy.
Taking a Color Class
I’m taking a class off of the Craftsy website called Acrylic Color Mixing Made Easy, by Carol McIntyre. This is the homework from Lesson One. It’s basically getting to know your paints. I found out that two reds and two blues were just too old to work with.

This is the beginning of an Imaginary Creature painting. I really like the way this flows, though. I can’t make myself paint over it. I guess it’s done, just the way it is.
Sponge Painting
For this, you have to treat the plastic garbage can before the acrylic paint will stick to it. I used Krylon Fusion spray paint. Then, using a cut dollar store sponge, I applied watered down red acrylic paint. I really like this! And, per usual, the red doesn’t come out right in the picture. Which is too bad. I love red!
