The purse I made myself about 10 years ago really needed to be replaced. So, I made this one.
It has three pockets inside.

I made this purse for my cousin’s daughter’s graduation. Gave it to her last month and just now getting around to posting it.

Crochet Purse
I decided to crochet myself a purse. I used 100% cotton by Sugar n Cream.
The yarn has very little stretch to it, which is what I wanted. I’m hoping the purse will maintain it’s shape.
The flap has a snap closure.
Here is the back and the strap.
The inside has two wide pockets on either side of a narrow pocket. The narrow pocket has velcro.
I didn’t use a pattern for this, just planned it out very carefully in my head. Then, I crocheted. Had to redo some sections multiple times before I was happy with them, but in the end, I’m very proud of this purse.
Herringbone Stitches
This stitch is called the Herringbone Half Double Stitch.
And this stitch is the Herringbone Double Stitch.
The co worker that I previously made purses for asked me to make her a couple more, but this time for going out on the town. I made this purse with the Herringbone Double Stitch.

The coworker that I made the purse for liked it so much that she asked me to make another one, but to just reverse the colors.
