This is this week’s TAST stitch, couch. Since the only ribbon I have is wider then I wanted, I tried using the chain stitch on folded ribbon. It was just too much for me. I don’t know what you call this stitch, but it was much easier. The ribbon is folded in thirds. I’m calling him “My Ribbon Worm”.

That works. You can knot or crochet a smaller thread and then couch it.
