I taught myself the Tunisian Crochet Double stitch from watching numerous videos online. I didn’t think to save them, to give them credit. Oops.
Here’s a closeup. Very interesting stitch. It felt awkward to use the very long crochet hook. I guess that will get better with practice.

The scarf is lovely.

I haven’t done tunisian in a while – you have inspired me to try to find a project for those long hooks! π

I didn’t like the single tunisian crochet, but the double wasn’t bad.

The scarf is fabulous π Cute color!
I do love the Tunisian Stitch….but, like you, am not a fan of the long hook. It did hurt my wrist after a while. π So I got a regular length hook (aluminum, no plastic or rubber ‘handle’ (psst – is that what it’s called? βΊοΈ) …and only crochet things with a tunesian stitch that are no wider than that hook π
Have a great Sunday π ~ Tina

I have crocheted constantly since I was 4, but I only recently started Tunisian crochet. This looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Tunisian was one of the coolest stitches I’ve ever done I wanted to do a larger one but I dissent have a long hook but one of the coolest and easiest stitches
