He’s a four month old black lab mix. At 29 pounds, he’s already a handful.
Theo is scared, Buddy is mad.
But, we will get through this.

I took this picture about a month ago, not long after Gruf passed. Well, Spunky failed very quickly in the past month and is no longer with us. For the first time in almost 16 years, I find myself with out a dog. I miss them both very much.

This is a picture of Gruf from this past summer.
Sadly, I had to have him put down.
Mom found us a vet and drove us there. I don’t know if I would have gotten through this without her.

Gruf was sleeping in a really cute position while I was doing some chores around the house. As soon as I grabbed the camera, however, he woke up and decided to go outside. I followed him and Spunky around for 20 minutes, trying to get a cute picture. This one of Spunky is the best I could get. Photographing animals can be a risky business. At least my boys are tame!
