This is the Silt Stitch.
I used yarn I had on hand to make this blanket in the Silt Stitch. When I was out of a color, that stripe was done. Makes for an interesting look.

This stitch is called the Herringbone Half Double Stitch.
And this stitch is the Herringbone Double Stitch.
The co worker that I previously made purses for asked me to make her a couple more, but this time for going out on the town. I made this purse with the Herringbone Double Stitch.
